As a Chevrolet driver, you can relax knowing you’ve made the right choice. Every new Chevrolet comes with a comprehensive roadside assistance programme called GM Driver Support Plan with a 24 hour help line in place, which is a free service for 5 years or 120 000 kilometres of your vehicle's life, whichever comes first. Should you have any problems such as a breakdown, keys locked in the vehicle or simply run out of fuel, call 0800 422 777 or ++27 11 541 1120 for immediate assistance.
Your GM Driver Support Plan operator is dedicated to assisting you and your valued passengers to your destination as quickly, safely and problem-free as possible.Please note that this service is only supported in South Africa, Namibia, Botswana, Lesotho and Swaziland.
Roadside Assistance
GM Driver Support Plan will rush to your aid, wherever you are, to provide assistance with flat tyres and car batteries, to deliver fuel in case yours has run out (fuel is for your own cost), and to assist with keys accidentally locked in your vehicle. GM Driver Support Plan can unfortunately not take responsibility for damages while performing this service due to the security nature of our products
Towing service/Technician
In the unlikely event of your vehicle suffering a breakdown, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange for your vehicle to be towed by an approved towing operator to the nearest Chevrolet authorised repair facility or where possible send a qualified technician to assist you with the problem.
Safe storage
If necessary, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange free safe storage for your vehicle for up to 48 hours.
Repatriation of vehicles
Should you have to leave your vehicle for repairs at an authorised GM/ Chevrolet dealership located more than 100km from your home, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange to have your vehicle returned to you free of charge or assist you to return to your vehicle.
Courtesy transport
Should you be stranded further than 100km from your home or destination, due to your vehicle undergoing unscheduled repairs, GM Driver Support Plan will provide you with alternative transport, either to your home or to your planned destination. This service is available in South Africa, Swaziland, Lesotho, Namibia and Botswana subject to specific terms and conditions.
Travel service
In the event of a breakdown further than 100km from your home or destination, GM Driver Support Plan will arrange either accommodation or an alternative vehicle to enable you to reach your destination, as well as relay urgent messages and provide telephonic directions.
Information service
GM Driver Support Plan will supply you with information regarding your GM South Africa vehicle, including all general vehicle information such as fuel and oil recommendations, service intervals, tyre maintenance, warning systems and applications, accessory enquiries, dealer locations and dealer telephone numbers.
All GM Driver Support Plan service providers are contracted to GM South Africa. Regular performance assessments ensure that services meet our strict standards and that your "personal assistant" is always ready and waiting, any hour of the day or night, 365 days a year. All you have to do is call.

NOTE: This membership is free for 5 years or 120 000km (whichever occurs first) from date of sale.
Chevrolet vehicles will be warranted by General Motors for 5 years or 120,000 kilometres, whichever comes first. This warranty will start from the original in-service date of the vehicle, for warrantable repairs which are required as a result of defects due to material and/or workmanship.
The following items are not covered under this warranty: friction materials such as brakes, clutch, tyres, and windshield wipers; exhaust system including catalytic converter; shock absorbers; in car entertainment; wear and tear; and CV (constant velocity) joints.
This is a supplement to the express conditions and warranties described in the Warranty and Owner Assistance Information booklet. Other coverages are not extended or altered due to this supplement.
If the vehicle is resold by an authorised GM Dealer, the balance of this warranty is transferable to the new owner provided the transaction takes place within five (5) years or 120 000km of the date of sale to the original owner. The Balance of New Vehicle Warranty Transfer to the Second or Third Owner card must be completed and received by GM South Africa.

Maintenance Costs and Replacement Parts It costs a lot less to keep a Chevrolet on the road. If replacement parts are ever necessary, they are often less expensive than competitors. Chevrolet also has a huge parts distribution centre in South Africa, so most parts are available within 48 hours
