Maintenance & Service Plan

• The Service Plan will commence on the date of sale (Retail report date) of the new GMSA vehicle and will continue for the duration or mileage, whichever occurs first.
• The Warranty of 5 years or 120 000km, whichever occurs first, remains unaffected by the introduction of a Service or Maintenance Plan.
• The Driver Support Plan (Roadside Assistance) comes standard with all GMSA vehicles for a duration of 5 years or 120 000km, which ever occurs first and gets extended to 5 years or 120 000km for vehicles that comes standard with 5 year/90 000km or 5 year/120 000km Service Plans.

What is covered under the Complete Service Plan?

Standard vehicle services as specified in the Manufacturer Service Schedule will be offered as free of charge to the customer. No maintenance or wear and tear components will be covered under this type plan. In other words, standard vehicle services be covered for the duration or mileage of the plan, which every occurs first:

• All "R - Replace" items as per the Manufacturer Service Schedule
• Air conditioner servicing
• Parts & Labour to conduct the service
• Lubricants and Coolant
• Consumables
• Roadside Assistance

What is not covered under the Complete Service Plan?

• Items not covered by the GMSA warranty
• Friction components, such as brake pads, brake disks, clutches, etc
• Shocks
• Exhaust systems
• Bulbs, headlamps, tail light bulbs
• Tyres, wheel alignment, wheel balancing and puncture repairs
• Any accident or impact damage as well as rust repairs (normal Rust/Corrosion warranty applies)
• Telephone kits and related accessories fitted to the vehicle
• Vehicle tracking, anti-hijacking or similar devices
• Rust inspection and rust prevention treatment
• Paint, trim and upholstery repairs, cleaning and preservation treatment
• Any cleaning and valet services
• Fuel, top-up fluids and any fuel or oil additives
• Windscreens, windows, headlights, tail-lights, lenses and other plastic or glass on the vehicle
• Any item or part missing from the vehicle
• Repairs and maintenance of the vehicle occasioned by driver/owner error, negligence, abuse and/or outside interference, however arising
• Repairs arising from the failure of the owner/driver to comply with the obligations and warranties referred to in this agreement, including specific repairs required as a consequence of not servicing the vehicle within the manufacturer specified kilometer service intervals and limits
• Servicing at unauthorised GMSA Retailers
• Replacement or upgrading of any CD-ROM, specifically, but not limited to, those related to satellite navigation systems
• Damaged wheels
• Repairs and maintenance relating to modifications, tuning, upgrading and all aftermarket accessories
• Maintenance related repairs
• Trim, Stone chips

What is covered under a Complete Motoring plan (Maintenance plan)?

Standard vehicle services as specified in the Manufacturer Service Schedules, as well as all reasonably required maintenance to keep the vehicle in roadworthy condition.

In other words, standard vehicle services and the following maintenance/wear and tear components will be covered under this type of plan for the duration or mileage of the plan, which every occurs first:

• All "R-Replace" items as per the Manufacturer Service Schedule
• Air conditioner Servicing – where applicable
• Shock absorbers
• Exhaust systems
• Maintenance components
• Friction components, such as brakes, clutch etc, which falls due for replacement as a result of normal wear and tear
• Parts & Labour to carry out the servicing
• Lubricants and Coolant
• Consumables
• Roadside Assistance for the duration of the Maintenance plan

What is not covered under the Complete Motoring plan (Maintenance Plan)?

Items not covered by the GMSA warranty

• Tyres, wheel alignment, wheel balancing and puncture repairs
• Rust inspection and rust prevention treatment
• Any accident or impact damage as well as rust repairs (normal Rust/Corrosion warranty applies)
• Windscreens, windows, headlights, tail-lights, lenses and other plastic or glass on the vehicle
• Damaged wheels
• Paint, trim and upholstery repairs, cleaning and preservation treatment
• Telephone kits and related accessories fitted to the vehicle
• Vehicle tracking, anti-hijacking or similar devices
• Any cleaning and valet services
• Fuel, top-up fluids and any fuel or oil additives
• Any item or part missing from the vehicle
• Repairs and maintenance of the vehicle occasioned by driver/owner error, negligence, abuse and/or outside interference, however arising
• Repairs arising from the failure of the owner/driver to comply with the obligations and warranties referred to in this agreement, including specific repairs required as a consequence of not servicing the vehicle within the manufacturer specified kilometer service intervals and limits
• Service and maintenance at unauthorised Retailers, except in pre-arranged emergency situations
• Replacement or upgrading of any CD-ROM, specifically, but not limited to, those related to satellite navigation systems
• Repairs and maintenance relating to modifications, tuning, upgrading and all accessories
• Any repairs and maintenance not authorised by the Maintenance Plan administrator/s
• Non Maintenance related repairs – i.e. Trim, Stone chips, etc
• Maintenance or wear and tear as a result of vehicles operating in severe conditions or abnormal conditions
