In order to ensure the continued validity of your vehicle’s Warranty and Motor Plan, accident repairs undertaken during the
Warranty and Motor Plan period must be undertaken by a General Motors South Africa (PTY) Ltd recommended Body Repairer.
In the event of an accident, contact must be made with the Driver Support Plan Centre on (Toll-free number) 0800 422 777 or +27(11) 541 1310.
Should Towing be necessary, arrangements will be made and the vehicle will be taken to a General Motors South Africa (GMSA) recommended Body Repairer.
Failure to adhere to this procedure could result in the termination of your new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan.
Only Genuine GM or GM approved parts may be fitted.

All the GMSA Body Repairers, GMSAApproved, Niche Vehicle, Opel Commercial and Autobody Speed Shop, haveundergone and abide to the following selection process and standards:
Have had an initial audit of their facilities and equipment and aresubject to an annual re-audit to ensure their standards are maintainedas per GMSA requirements.
Are required to enter into a binding service level agreement to adhere to the GMSA standards.
Have qualified trained staff, who utilizes the latest technology and know-how to restore your GM vehicle back to its original specifications/standard.
Will provide you as a customer with a detailed repair estimate cost.
Have put in-place a process to provide feed-back to you as customer on the repairing progress of your vehicle.
Will provide you as a customer with a written workmanship and paint guarantee, on the work performed.
Are required to enter into a binding contract with an independent company to monitor their customer’s satisfaction levels. Should you be contacted by this company and for some or other reason you are not satisfied, kindly ensure that you respond to the SMS message to enable the GMSA Body Repairer to make contact with you and rectify your query.

These Body Repairers undertake to do Major/Small/Minor damage repairs to all GMSA vehicles under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
Excluding::
Major Structural Repairs on models - Cadillac, Hummer, Saab, Chevrolet Lumina sedan, Chevrolet Lumina Utility, adjustments to retractable / soft top roofs on Models - Opel Astra Twin Top, Opel Tigra and Saab.
Approved Niche Vehicle Body Repairer
These Body Repairers undertake to do Major/Small/Minor damage repairs to all GMSA vehicles under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
Including:
Major Structural Repairs on models - Cadillac, Hummer, Saab, Chevrolet Lumina sedan and Chevrolet Lumina Utility, adjustments to retractable / soft top roofs on Models - Opel Astra Twin Top, Opel Tigra and Saab, under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
Approved Opel Commericals Body Repairer
These Body Repairers undertake to do Major/Small/Minor damage repairs to all GMSA vehicles under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
Including:
Major Structural Repairs on models - Opel Vivaro and Opel Movano, under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
Autobody Speed Shop
These Body Repairers undertake to do ONLY Small / Minor repair work to all GMSA vehicles under the new vehicle Warranty and Motor Plan parameters.
i.e. Scratches, Small Dents, Corrosion/Rust, and Paint repairs etc.
